FATHER
Today I try to remember
anything at all about him.
It gets very hard.
If only someone would say
"yes, you remind me of him."
THE
REFUGEES
You see them on the news,
the refugees.
Walking, stumbling
living in camps
No water
no toilets
no food
Bundles, they have bundles
What would I take
in my bundle?

I love the idea of memory being its own force, powerful and mobile.
