The Earth

There's so much between me and my man.
A whole planet. A big lump of fire,
water, mud and rocks.
It sucks. Which is good.
Otherwise we'd float away—
Just like the air we're breathing.
We can crawl around it.
Even if it takes awhile,
Till we hold each other again.
